Hi, I am Abby!

I am a licensed cosmetologist that is obsessed with all things nails. I have been doing nails professionally for over three years now, but I have been doing my own nails since I was old enough to hold a bottle of polish! I specialize in structured gel application and hand painted art.  Luminary Nail Systems is my favorite base for my nail art. My clients know that I am all about the natural nail look!

When I am not doing nails or buying nail polish, I am playing with my puppy or hanging out with my husband. We love to geek out over our favorite shows, go hiking, and try every new restaurant we can find! 

Why is it called Starfruit Beauty?

I love fruit...like LOVE it. So, when I first graduated cosmetology school, I was doing hair & nails. The name I chose for my hair business was "Honeydew Hair" (because a fruit pun...classic, why not?). Well, I decided to separate my hair & nail business and wanted the names to go together. I randomly chose starfruit because I love starfruit smoothies (I thought that's a tropical fruit, spa-ish right?? lol idk). Then fate decided I would stop doing hair and I just kept going with Starfruit Nails! Plus, yellow is my favorite color and so I like having it for my brand.
